Hustle

It is that time of year. We hustle...hustle while we shop, hustle mailing out packages in time, hustle making all the cookies, hustle, hustle, hustle! You’ve just got to respect the hustle. So when you see a blur of me going by, I will be wearing my t-shirt and killing it!!

If you too hustle and would like to create your own shirt, head over to my Etsy store and grab his design for yourself.

Hope you enjoy all the hustle the season brings!

Winter is Coming

It is probably my least favorite time of year. Winter!  It’s cold, it’s wet, it’s windy! I know it’s coming.  I decided to embrace the inevitable and create this cute little snowman-themed design.  I meant make it so I can silk screen it to hang during the winter months in my house.  I decided it would make a great layered HTV project for a t-shirt.

Winter=cold & sad. Snowman=warm & fuzzy!

If you like him, pick it up in my Etsy shop.

180 days

Today is 180 days.  Who’s counting?  I started working at the middle school 8 years ago.  It has been exciting, tiring, fulfilling and exhausting all at the same time.  What makes the job so wonderful is the caring, talented teachers I have the privilege of working with everyday.  When you send your children to school you want these human beings influencing their young minds.  I am thankful each day they let me be a part of it.

With that said, I needed something to bestow on them for the ceremonious 180th day… the last day of school.  I have been working on a few projects that I have always wanted to try.  Silk screening has topped my list for a while.  It’s a great way to make multiple, personalized gifts.  I designed this tee for the occasion.

Pi Kappa Alpha Graphic

My son rushed a fraternity this past spring. He wanted me to whip up a t-shirt for him to wear around campus. He had something in mind and we worked on it together. I used my Cricut to cut the design and stenciled it onto a shirt. It has been in his regular rotation of t-shirts since I made it. As you can see by the first photo, it is perfectly worn in. I am glad he likes it.
